All 3 of these new yarns will come on 2-pound cones.

3/23/16--BAGGED WOOL is Back!!!  Most are a 2/60 size and is a beautiful New Zealand Rug Wool that has been moth-proofed.  We will be getting a new shipment of approx. 500 pounds every few months.  The price is still the low $3.00 per pound.  (This yarn has been gently slid off the cardboard cone.  You have an outside or center-pull thread.)

8/2015--Natural, Undyed Rayon Chenille, 1000 ypp, 12 wpi.  Great yarn for dyeing.  Go to webpage.

Also, undyed Rayon "Caterpillar" chenille.  Light and airy!  Go to webpage.

In addition to our 2-prong fringe twister ($15), we now also offer the 4-prong twister for $25; both made of Hard Rock Maple...very pretty and similar to the Leclerc twister.

EVENTS

2017

April 21-23:  Smoky Mountain Fiber Arts Festival, Townsend, TN. (Their website)  R&M Yarns will have a booth at this event--Friday thru Sunday.  Come by and see us.  There are lots of vendors and classes one can sign up for.  My daughter, Candee, will also have a booth with lots of hand-dyed yarns.

(If you are coming to the Festival and need coned yarns from R&M, let me know and I will be happy to bring them to avoid shipping costs.)

May 13 Mark you calendars now for the R&M Yarns Fiber Education Festival--Saturday, May 13, 2017 on the front lawn at the Store.  We're moving the event into the month of May to avoid the heavy rains we've been experiencing in April!  The Scenic Valley Handweavers Guild will have a booth with handwoven items for sale and will be demonstrating several fiber art techniques.  Kids' activities will be offered again this year.  Sandy Bagby "Critter Corral" will be bringing sheep, alpacas and angora rabbits.  She will also be shearing several sheep and will have lambs for sale.  More details here.
