Very "fluffy", terry-cloth like; very clean with no strings.
It takes about 2 pounds of loops to make a woven 2 ft. x 3 ft. rug.
It took about 1/2 pound to weave the table runner shown below--finished size: 11" x 27".

Customers say these dye well with the same dye used for cotton yarn.

Woven on a Floor Loom
Warp is 8/4 Natural and Black Cotton--available in our shop. There is one pick of natural and black (together) in between each row of loopers. Sett was 12 epi.
Washed in a commercial washer in warm water on gentle cycle; laid flat to air dry. Hem area was 2 strands of 8/4 cotton (1 black & 1 natural) for about 1.5"; turned under and hemmed by hand.
Natural, Gray and Black Loops used randomly. Great for hot pots and pans on a table!
Polish Merino Roving~$3.50 per oz.
