Woven Towels
Warp is "Warm Brown" 8/2 Open End-Spun Cotton with Black & White accents. Sett was 16 epi; woven plain weave; a few warp ends were tripled to give an indication of a "line."
The finished towel was very absorbent with a look and feel of "linen." The color chip is a little off; it's similar to a "chamois" color as in the photo above.

"Bumberet" Pattern sett at 20 ends per inch.

I wasn't sure about the absorbency of these beautiful towels because of the "open-end" spun fibers that produced a somewhat "dense" finished towel. But after washing and drying, I was pleasantly surprised how super absorbent they were! As soon as the towel touched a puddle of water, it immediately absorbed it!
This yarn would also make nice placemats & table runners. It has great stability and lays beautifully on the table!
